Katie Bevan

Katie Bevan is a freelance presenter and producer who has worked across a wide variety of projects, both during and after her time at Queen Mary University of London. Her previous roles include being a Broadcast Assistant with ITV News (ITN) at Wimbledon, a Host Broadcast Team Member with Sunset+Vine at the IAAF London 2017 World Championships and a Production Assistant with FUBAR Radio. She also launched the Young Audio Awards at Radiocentre’s ‘Tuning In’ conference, as well as creating a vlog for BBC Ten Pieces which was used across BBC social media platforms.
Currently acting as one of the Student Radio Association’s (SRA) Regional Officers for London and the South East, Katie represents over twenty student stations at a national level and assists with the running of national events. Katie’s presenting has also received numerous awards, including the Bronze Award for ‘Best Music Presenter’ at the 2020 Student Radio Awards sponsored by BBC Radio 1 and Global.
